REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Last updated: 10 September 2026

This policy explains when payments made to YRK Football Group LTD may be refunded or credited.

It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions.

1. Casual Games and Individual Sessions

Bookings must be paid for through Spond or another payment method approved by YRK.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may receive a credit for a future YRK session.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable and will not receive credit.

Players who do not attend without cancelling remain responsible for the full payment.

Credits cannot normally be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.Exceptions may be considered in serious or exceptional circumstances at YRK’s discretion.

2. League-Team Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions contribute towards training, matches, facilities, referees, league costs, equipment, insurance and the wider running of the club.Subscriptions are not calculated according to individual attendance. Missing matches, training or other activities does not normally entitle a player to a full or partial refund.A player with a serious long-term injury may request an exemption from future payments. Any exemption must be agreed by YRK and will not normally apply retrospectively.Players leaving a league team must notify YRK before their next subscription becomes due. Payments already due or covering a membership period that has begun are not normally refundable.

3. League Registration and Membership Fees

Registration, membership and signing-on fees are non-refundable once a player’s registration has been submitted, accepted or processed by YRK, The Football Association or an affiliated competition.Payment does not guarantee match selection, playing time or a permanent squad place.

If YRK is unable to complete a registration, any refund will take account of fees already paid to third parties or other costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.

4. Kit and Personalised Items

Payments for personalised, printed or specially ordered kit cannot normally be refunded once the order has been placed.Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items should be reported as soon as reasonably possible. This does not affect the participant’s statutory rights.Items purchased directly from an external club-shop provider are subject to that provider’s own returns and refund policy.

5. Activities Cancelled by YRK

If YRK cancels a separately paid casual game, training session or activity, participants will normally receive either:

A credit for a future session; or
A refund of the amount paid for the cancelled activity.

League-team subscriptions will not normally be partially refunded when an individual fixture or training session is cancelled, postponed or rearranged because subscriptions support the club’s overall seasonal costs.

YRK is not responsible for additional expenses such as travel, accommodation or personal equipment costs and replacing kits.

6. Weather and Venue Decisions

Activities may be cancelled, postponed, shortened or relocated because of weather, unsafe playing conditions, venue availability, insufficient numbers or circumstances outside YRK’s reasonable control.

Where an activity continues at a different time or location, the payment will normally be transferred to the rearranged activity rather than refunded.
