Support YRK FC
Help more people find their game
YRK FC started with a simple aim: make football easier to access and give people in York a place to belong.
Today, we run Saturday and Sunday league teams alongside casual games during the week. Our community has grown to more than 700 Spond members, and we want to create more opportunities for people to play.
Why we need support
Every game has a cost. Pitches, referees, equipment and the day-to-day running of YRK all need funding. Player payments cover part of it, but support from local people and businesses helps us keep football accessible.
What we’re building.
We want stronger league teams, more opportunities to play during the week, and a pathway from casual games into women’s and youth football. These are our ambitions, and they take time, people and investment. Your support helps us take the next steps.
What your support makes possible
Your support helps us keep league teams and casual games running across York, giving more people a place to play and be part of YRK.
See the difference it makes.
We’ll share stories from the people involved, updates on our progress and what your support has helped us achieve. You’ll be able to see the club and community you’re helping to build
What benefits does your business receive?
Your business becomes part of the story behind YRK: helping people across York play football and helping the club grow. We’ll show our community who supports us and give partners opportunities to connect with one another.
You can also choose to offer YRK members a discount or benefit. That’s optional and separate from your support for the club. Before you join, we’ll make clear how your business will be featured and what the partnership includes.
OUR COMMUNITY.
Local businesses are already helping YRK grow. Ebor Minibuses, Bombay Spice and Airhart Visual Media each support the club in different ways, helping us put teams on the pitch, share their stories and create more opportunities for our community.
